The presence of the mass media differentiates modern social and political reality from that which appeared in the past. Through their information management[1] the mass media manipulate information within the limits of the society, whose members - rather sporadically having access to political information without the medium of the mass media - are to some extent sentenced to the media and their transmissions as a source of information about the public sphere of life and along with this, politics as well.
